If you had asked me a few years ago where I'd end up, I would've been wrong.

I hoped life would become this good.

I just never imagined it would become this peaceful.

Some mornings I wake up, pour a cup of coffee, see Neytiri stretched out in the sun, and I have the same thought.

How did I get here?

Not here.

Here.

The place inside myself.
​
That question has led to almost everything I've written.
​
Not because I was looking for answers.
​
Because I started noticing that life keeps saying the same things.
​
Just differently.
​
The same lesson.
​
A different year.
​
The same fear.
​
A different face.
​
The same choice.
​
A different consequence.
​
I stopped asking, "Why is this happening?"
​
I became more interested in asking,
​
"What is this trying to teach me?"
​
That's when everything changed.
​
This website grew the same way.
​
One observation became a paragraph.
​
One paragraph became an article.
​
One article became another question.
​
I never sat down to build a library.
​
I just kept following what felt true.
​
Maybe that's all any of us are doing.
​
Looking.
Missing it.
Looking again.
​
If anything I've written stays with you, I hope it isn't because I convinced you of something.
​
I hope it's because you noticed something you hadn't seen before.
​
That's usually where the real change begins.
